The Energy Guard cover has the ability to provide a variety of benefits to the end-user. The dark colouring of the material reduces the amount of sunlight that can enter the Swimming Pool and thus inhibits the growth of algae. Whilst the suns rays do not penetrate the cover and enter the water, the dark colouring absorbs the suns heat and transfers it directly to the Swimming Pool water, thus reducing the cost of heating. Its thick 500 Micron finish also makes it an excellent heat retainer.
